Market Snapshot setup is not available through the wizard; use the Setup menu on the Control Panel instead (see the procedure below).
Before you set up Market Snapshot you should have set up your MLS data access information. The Market Snapshot service depends on access to your MLS data in order to create its real-time market reports. When you bought your Market Snapshot subscription, you specified the MLS Boards to which you had access; they should appear in the Market Snapshot Agent Setup page.
Market Snapshot Pro: If you are taking advantage of the new Market Snapshot Pro, an option appears on the Market Snapshot Setup page for you to indicate which version you will be using.
To set up your Market Snapshot:
Open the Market
Snapshot Setup page.
How?
Indicate if you will be using Market Snapshot Pro or the Standard Market Snapshot.
Click one of following Minimum Listing Required radio buttons:
Require at least 1: The Market Snapshot will not be sent unless at least one property within the customer's zip code was listed or sold in the past three months (recommended).
Allow 0: The Market Snapshot can be sent without any comparable listings being found.
(Optional) Change the color scheme of the Snapshot to match your branding.
In the MLS section, you can do the following:
Check the Auto send MS check box if you want to send the Market Snapshot to all new inquiries automatically.
Note: If the MLS does not support automatic Market Snapshot generation, this option will be disabled. If you wish to enable it, contact Top Producer.
To include or exclude the status of a home on a seller's or buyer's Market Snapshot, check or clear the appropriate check boxes.
If you are using MS Pro, you can select the additional statuses of Expired/Withdrawn and Pending.
Click Save & Close.
