When you invite contacts to subscribe to the newsletter using any of the methods, they must respond to the opt-in email to become subscribers. This requirement is in compliance with Anti-Spam laws and industry principles.
To track this, contacts are assigned one of the following statuses:
Requested: When a subscriber is added, the subscriber has not yet been sent an opt-in email. The system checks periodically, and any newly-requested contacts are sent the opt-in email. Until that time, status remains at Requested.
Waiting: The opt-in email has been sent, but no response has been received.
Active: Customer has opted-in, and is actively receiving newsletters.
Unsubscribed: Customer has stopped the subscription.
Agent Stopped: Agent has stopped the subscription.
You can view contact/subscriber status in the Newsletter Subscriber Report.
You can choose to edit the content of the opt-in email and re-send it to customers that you added who have a status of Waiting. Edit the email in the same way you edit other Market Snapshot emails.
